History and future

60 years of precision and innovation
The ZIEGLER Group was founded in 1966 by Fritz Ziegler. In a small workshop, he manufactured high-precision cutting and stamping tools. With the development of the first Airbus A300 in 1968, ZIEGLER was already supplying parts for the prototypes — marking the beginning of a close partnership with the aerospace industry.
As early as the 1970s, we invested in NC technology, long before it became standard in the industry. In 1993, we expanded our business activities by acquiring a former customer in the machine components sector. Markus Ziegler led this division and served as Managing Director of Fertigungstechnik Markdorf from 2000 to 2022.
Today, we look back on 60 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing. With certification according to EN 9100 and ISO 9001, as well as the successful completion of numerous customer audits, we meet the highest quality standards. Our customers — leading companies in aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering — rely on our expertise in manufacturing complex turned and milled parts.
Whether aluminum, steel, titanium, or specialty materials such as magnesium, molybdenum, INCONEL® and carbon-fiber composites, we process materials precisely according to our customers’ requirements. As a long-standing partner to industry, we also handle the procurement of specific materials through our established supplier network.
We will continue to expand our core competencies in high-precision manufacturing to drive innovation and build new, sustainable partnerships. Values-driven thinking and action form the foundation of our daily work. We look forward to working with you.
